CHILDCARE BENEFITS TO HELP working FAMILIES

At Foundations Day Nursery, we strive to help families with the cost of childcare services. We can help you minimise your costs as an approved childcare provider that offers a range of government supported childcare benefits programmes. Based in Selly Oak, we’ve been providing high quality and caring childcare services to families across Birmingham, including Kings Heath, Bournville and Stirchley for over 25 years. Our services are designed with an understanding of the support that both you and your children need. 

Childcare is an expense for many families. We can assist you by offering a range of government childcare benefits schemes. Foundations Day Nursery are proud to be a UK government approved childcare provider offering free funded places for three to four year old's as part of the government’s 15 hours of free childcare scheme and extended 15 hours for working families.

With a total of 570 free childcare hours per year available, you can choose to take 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year (term time), or you can choose to stretch your entitlement over 51 weeks (all year round). This childcare benefit scheme provides funding for up to 15 hours per week during term times and stops when your child starts in reception class or reaches compulsory school age, if later.
