We can help you minimise your costs as an approved childcare provider that offers a range of government supported childcare benefits programmes. 30 hours free childcare for three to four year olds

Childcare is an expense for many families. We can assist you by offering a range of government childcare benefits schemes. Foundations Day Nursery are proud to be a UK government approved childcare provider offering free funded places for three to four year old's as part of the government’s 15 hours of free childcare scheme and extended 15 hours for working families.

With a total of 570 free childcare hours per year available, you can choose to take 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year (term time), or you can choose to stretch your entitlement over 51 weeks (all year round). This childcare benefit scheme provides funding for up to 15 hours per week during term times and stops when your child starts in reception class or reaches compulsory school age, if later.

30 hours free childcare for working parents

If you’re a working parent then you may be eligible for the 30 hours free childcare scheme. For this childcare benefit, working parents are entitled up to 1,140 hours of free childcare per year which you can use over 38 weeks (term time), or you can decide to use it over the year 51 weeks (all year round)
To be eligible for the 30 hours free childcare you (and your partner if applicable) must be:
  • Working or be receiving parental leave, sick leave or annual leave
  • Earning at least the National Minimum Wage or Living Wage for 16 hours a week
